2011-05-27 Tweaking AF100

I've noticed that the Panny AF100 is quite biased to magenta and it's very noticable in the skin tones. Comparing to the Canon 60d I managed to tweak the settings in the AF100 giving it a more pleasing skintone without that sickly magenta cast. I might have gone alittle overboard with the color saturation setting, but it's nice to know that the AF100 is tweakable.

I am using Premieres Title Tool to make subtitles.  I've made a custom workspace in Premiere and found a pretty straightforward workflow.

2011-04-11 Lowel rifa DIY

Just saved me some $$ by moding a cheap umbrella softbox with standard e27 socket to take a ordinary gy9,5 bulb.

Alittle bit scary to fire up a 650w lamp inside the umbrella but it worked surprisingly well,  and now I can ditch my knockoff red head with the  big and cumbersome softbox. I will most likely be doing more of these mods,  next one will probably be a 40x40cm ( with a smaller bulb of course.)

2011-03-29 - Canon Fd to micro 4/3 adapter

Just got this adapter for my Af100,  so now I got a whole new use for my collection of old Canon FD lenses.

The 50mm 1.4 is pretty sweet on the panasonic.  Looks ridiculous,  though. :)
