2012-10-22 - Big scene!

I am finding myself at controldesk in a warehouse shooting a musicvideo for an upcoming country singer/songwriter. Never used one of these desks before, but the guy setting it up gave me a quick run down on how it worked. The day went without issues, except my voice has been acting up. Getting a cold, sound somewhat like Marge Simpson.

In the background you are watching the Coollights CDM150 pointing straight into the camera. Love those lights!

2012-06-20 - Lightkit v2

So my huge lightcase got stolen with everything.
After a couple of weeks of denial, acceptance kicked in and I started planning my light kit v2.
This time I wanted to go with only daylight fixtures. A smaller case so I could with slightly less trouble getting thru doorways while carrying on the back. Stands that is stackable. Umbrella softboxes with e27 sockets in the base.
I will never leave this case out of sight for one second ..

2012-04-18 - Not for the faint of hearts..

I have been DIYing a way to power my af100 from a v-mount battery. Easy mcheesy, was my first thought and went down and grabbed my a adjustable voltage regulator circuit and dtap cable. No dice.

To regulate voltage from 14,4 volts to 7,2 made the converter going reeaaally hot. Not even a bigass heatsink would help so I had to find some alternative and found a stepdown circuit which is alot more effecient. Still needs a small heatsink though.

2012-04-04 - Barebone lighting kit

Doing some interviews in Stockholm and here is my barebone lightingkit. 500w fresnel, diy rifa light, extensioncord, stands, gloves and clamps. Light and easy, no pun intended! ;)

We are making a contribution to a local short filmfestival called Pixel.

In the pic the director is adjusting the hair on the actress playing lovable zombie.

We need to make more of these wierd shorts, it is incredibly fun.

2012-01-28 - Waiting for the show ..

Right now I am getting ready for the show to start in Stockholm. I hate producing live graphics, there is just so much that can go wrong. Please laptop, dont bluescreen me!

On a more serious note, it is exciting as hell!
